Huel McKinley “Kip” O’Kelley IV





Kip O'Kelley joined Miles Hanford & Tallant, LLC in September of 2021. As an Associate with the firm, his primary practice areas are civil and probate litigation, corporate and business representation, estate planning and local government law.

Kip is a native of Flowery Branch, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2017, summa cum laude, with a bachelors degree in Business Marketing. He attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor, cum laude. There, he was active in Mock Trial and Moot Court, winning the 2018 J. Melvin England Mock Trial Competition and the 2019 Georgia Intrastate Moot Court Competition. During his third year of law school, Kip was selected as a pupil in the E. Wycliffe Orr Sr. American Inn of Court.

Prior to joining the firm, Kip worked at a metro Atlanta insurance defense firm, where he litigated medical malpractice and general liability cases.
