Knox L. Allen

Associate

Knox Allen joined Miles Hansford, LLC in 2023. His primary practice areas are criminal defense and family law; however, he also handles general civil litigation matters.

Knox graduated from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Following graduation from Ole Miss, Knox attended the Mercer University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate. While in law school, he received awards for academic achievement and was named to the Dean’s List three times.

Prior to joining Miles Hansford, LLC, Knox served as an Assistant Solicitor General in the State Court of Forsyth County, where he gained invaluable insight into the criminal justice system and developed critical trial and negotiation skills.

Knox’s criminal practice encompasses a broad range of matters including traffic violations, DUIs, and other misdemeanor offenses; as well as assisting clients charged with white collar crimes, drug possession, felony offenses, and juvenile offenses.

In his family law practice, Knox represents parties in protection orders, divorce, custody, contempt, child support, and modification actions.

Knox is a native of Forsyth County and currently resides in the North Fulton area. In his free time, Knox enjoys supporting local professional sports teams, traveling, and participating in the Ole Miss Alumni Association.

Knox is admitted to practice in Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Georgia.
