T. Eli Francis

Associate

Eli Francis joined Miles Hansford & Tallant in 2022. As an associate, Eli has developed a presence in four practice areas - Land Usage litigation, Administrative, Domestic and Criminal Cases.

His land usage practice focuses on representing individuals in eminent domain cases dealing specifically with water, sewer, gas, or other utility easements or road expansion. Eli also helps individuals with tackling complex zoning matters.

Eli’s administrative practice focuses on assisting individuals with obtaining the proper licensing for their business, specializing in alcohol licensing.

Eli’s domestic practice focuses on zealously representing individuals going through a contested divorce. Eli also assists individuals with less contested matters such as adoption, legal name change, and prenuptial agreements, as well as some estate matters.

Eli’s criminal defense practice focuses on fervent representation for individuals who find themselves charged with a crime. Dealing with a wide variety of misdemeanors, felonies, and/or traffic offenses.

A native of Forsyth County, Eli graduated from Augusta University, dual majoring in Political Science and Criminal Justice. While in school at Augusta, Eli was admitted to the Alpha Phi Sigma Honors Society, the Pi Sigma Alpha Honors Society, and the Order of Omega Greek Honors Society.

Following his graduation, Eli attended the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia where he graduated, Cum Laude. In law school, Eli was actively involved in the Phi Delta Phi Honors Society, the Real Estate Law Society, and the Christian Legal Society.

Returning home to North Georgia, Eli lives in Free Home, with his wife, Kim, his son, Crew, and their dog, Atticus. In his free time, Eli enjoys hiking, cooking for friends and family, and playing golf.
