Deborah Anice Pittman joined Miles Hansford & Tallant, LLC in 2016 and is now a Partner in the firm. Her primary practice areas are family law and criminal defense; however, she also handles general civil litigation matters and is a certified civil and family law mediator.
Deborah graduated from Georgia Southern University and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, cum laude. Following graduation from Georgia Southern, Deborah attended the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia where she earned her Certificate in Advance Legal Writing. In law school, Deborah was actively involved in the Association of Women Lawyers and was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society.
Deborah understands the emotional toll her clients and their families face when dealing with these legal issues. Deborah passionately represents the rights of her clients and families throughout Georgia. She offers compassionate support for clients through each case. Having grown up with divorced parents, Deborah is particularly sensitive to the issues that impact children in divorce and custody cases.
In addition to her legal practice, Deborah is actively engaged in her local community. Deborah is a member of the Alpharetta Rotary Club where she has served in various board positions. She is a 2019 graduate of Leadership North Fulton. And, Deborah engages in the local business community as a member of both the Alpharetta Chamber of Commerce and the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
Deborah and her husband reside in the North Fulton area with their two very spoiled dogs: Macie and Penny.
Deborah is admitted to practice in Georgia State and Superiors Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
